I can explain it, or I can just handle it. Every guide starts with the short answer. If you want to know why, keep reading—I’ll walk you through it. If you don’t care why, call me and it’s done.

How I work with you

Some people want to understand the tech. Some people just want the problem gone. Both are fine—I adjust to you.

MODE 1

Want to understand it

I break complex processes into steps that make sense. Read a guide below, ask questions, and leave knowing what actually went wrong—not just that someone “fixed something.”

MODE 2

Just want it fixed

Skip the technicalities. Tell me what’s broken, approve a clear quote, and I get the job done. No lecture required.

Everyday tech questions

The questions I hear every week. Open a guide for the short answer and the full walkthrough—or start a conversation when you want hands-on help.

Home & business

Why is my internet slow?

Plug a computer straight into the modem and run a speed test. If that is fast, your Wi-Fi or router is the problem—not your provider. If it is still slow, the issue is the line coming in.

Home & office

Why does my printer keep going offline?

It is almost never a broken printer. The computer lost its path to the printer—Wi-Fi drop, sleep mode, a bad driver, or a changed IP address. Fix the path and it comes back.

Security

How do I spot a phishing email?

Slow down. Urgent language, a sender address that is almost right, unexpected attachments, and links that go somewhere else when you hover are the usual tells. When in doubt, do not click—call the company on a number you already trust.

Wi-Fi & networks

Why is Wi-Fi fine in one room but not another?

Wi-Fi is radio. Walls, metal, distance, and neighboring networks kill the signal in the rooms farthest from the router. Moving the box a little can help one room; a whole building usually needs a mesh or wired access points.

Backups

Are my backups actually working?

A green checkmark is not enough. The only backup you can trust is one you have actually restored a file from—at least once. If you cannot name where backups live or who has the password, you do not have a backup you can count on.

Business networks

When is it time to upgrade network gear?

If you reboot the router to “fix” dropouts, guest Wi-Fi shares the same network as accounting, nobody knows the admin password, or vendor security updates ended—it is time. Replace the firewall/router and Wi-Fi first; nice-to-haves can wait.

Automation

What should we automate first?

Start with something small, frequent, and painful—copying the same info between systems, follow-ups that only live in someone’s head, or forms staff re-type into another program. Skip one-off yearly tasks and anything you have not documented yet.

Getting started

Who do we call when something breaks?

Call me. TechHand Pro Solutions is built so homes and businesses have one accountable local person—from a slow PC to managed IT, cameras, and custom tools—not a flowchart of five vendors.
