Malware-Free Laptop: How We Restored Speed in Buhl

The issue

A Dell laptop was sluggish, infected with malware, and experiencing BitLocker-related startup issues.

How we fixed it

We decrypted the BitLocker‑encrypted drive, removed malware and unnecessary software, reinstalled Dell SupportAssist with updates, ran DISM and SFC, performed a full tune‑up, cleared temporary files and registry backups, and disabled BitLocker.

Result

The laptop ran faster, was free of malware, and no longer experienced startup issues.
